Event Information

Do you want to make timely changes to your master schedule to accommodate the strengths and needs of your current student population? Do you want to know more about your needs for instructional resources and utilizing your teaching staff in the most effective manner? These are all tasks you must do well before courses are requested, class sections are developed, and teaching assignments are made. PVAAS student-level projections to state assessments (PSSA and Keystone) and AP exams can help you in that work! Many of these projections are available several years in advance for students, allowing you to make informed decisions about course offerings, remediation needs, and resource allocation. This session will illustrate how to utilize PVAAS data to (1) examine PSSA and Keystone projections to proactively create master schedules that meet incoming students’ needs, and (2) plan for appropriate course offerings, including remediation supports and rigorous Honors and AP courses. Scenarios will be shared to provide real-life application of the data in your work.
