Event Information

Pennsylvania's economic future depends on having a well-educated and skilled workforce that is prepared to meet the curent and projected demands of a global, knowledge-based 21st century economy. A 'Teacher in the Workplace' program provides educators an opportunity to participate in real-world, employer-based experiences that they can use to inform classroom instruction and prepare their students for career, college and community success. During this one-day workshop, participants will examine effective TIW practices, Career Readiness Indicators, labor market information and work-based learning opportunities for students.
