DESCRIPTION: Text-dependent analysis is a critical piece to literacy development K-2; however it looks quite different than grades 3-12. Please join us as we delve into the concept of text-dependent analysis in grades K-2. Teachers will work on strategies to support students with developing skills required to deeply read and dissect text. Teachers will explore appropriate text to TDAs and create lesson plans and grade -level appropriate TDA questions for grades K-12. DETAILS: --- Location: CSIU Conference & Learning Center - Susquehanna B --- Cost: $200 per person --- Target Audience: Teachers, administrators, literacy specialists, curriculum coordinators (Grades K-2) --- Lunch: will be provided --- Registration Deadline: October 30, 2019 --- Act 48 Hours: 11.0 (you must attend the entire event to receive 11.0 Act 48 hours. No partial hours will be given). The CSIU will upload Act 48 hours for this event to the PDE.
