Student Environment Task Tools (SETT) Process - Event Information

This one-day training is designed for special education teachers, SLPs, and administrators who have students with needs in the area of assistive technology. The SETT Framework is a four-part model intended to promote collaborative decision-making in all phases of assistive technology service design and delivery from consideration through implementation and evaluation of effectiveness. SETT is an acronym for Student, Environments, Tasks, and Tools. In this training, participants will learn about the four-part SETT process by learning about the framework and analyzing case studies to be able to complete the process within their school districts.
• Participants will identify the four-parts of the SETT framework
• Participants will describe the philosophy to promote a collaborative process
• Participants will use case studies to complete the SETT framework and implementation plan
