DESCRIPTION:
This training will provide individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to make educational decisions across all aspects of education (evaluation, identification, child find obligations, etc.) for students with disabilities. Upon successful completion of this training, individuals will be able to serve as surrogate parents within their district of residence for students who are wards of the state/do not have a legal guardian.
