This workshop is designed to support special education teachers and related service providers with the skills to develop legally compliant and effective Reevaluation Reports for students with disabilities. Participants will gain skills in drafting each area of the RR, including review of existing data, determination of need for additional data, summarization of assessment results and observation information, and determination of a diagnosis of SLD. Participants will also be given the opportunity to work on developing an RR for one of their current students with support from the facilitators. Participants will understand the purpose of a Reevaluation Report (RR) for students with disabilities Participants will understand the timelines involved in the Reevaluation process Participants will understand the multi-disciplinary team approach to drafting an RR Participants will gain knowledge to develop legally compliant and effective components of the RR including review of existing data, determination of need for additional data, summarization of assessment results and observation information, and determination of a diagnosis of SLD Who Should Attend?
