Understanding and Using the SETT Framework to Guide AT Decisions - Event Information

The S. E. T. T. framework is a tool to help teams make decisions regarding trialing assistive technology options with students. Participants will explain the four-part model of the SETT framework, describe Assistive Technology as outlined by IDEA and 504 plans, and explain the data collection process for each part of the SETT framework. Participants will learn about feature matching and its importance when making educated AT tool trialing decisions. The components of an AT implementation plan will be shared. Finally, participants will complete a sample SETT framework facilitation with other participants. It is highly recommended, but not required, that IEP teams attend this training together.
