PDE is developing a ‘process guide’ to help district administrators understand the PIMS workflow, identify actions, and troubleshoot challenges. This guide will be rolled out at the November 20 DQN meeting, and thus, IUs are asked to identify at least one curriculum/accountability/assessment person who can join the meeting this day in order to learn about this document and present it to local curriculum and superintendent councils following the meeting. Additionally, these participants will be asked to take part in a discussion after the presentation of the guide, the topic of which will be generating ways in which IUs and PDE can work together to build and support PIMS capacity in central administrators. This meeting will also serve as one of the two STEM-focused DQN meetings detailed in the SSOS STEM deliverables; STEM POCs are asked to join this meeting as new STEM-related PIMS reporting will be presented. STEM POCs will then be asked to present this information to local curriculum and superintendent councils following the meeting. The goal is to provide LEAs with information on the importance of the PIMS submission, getting their data organized, as well as, a presentation on Course data, Educator Certifications, & STEM Details: --- Location: CSIU Conference & Learning Center - Susquehanna A&B --- Time: 9:00 am to Noon --- Target Audience: Superintendents, Curriculum Coordinators, Principals, PIMS Coordinators and STEM POCs
